Google Talk Chatback Badge
This is yet another new feature that make Google is indispensable when online. See the badge to the right saying, “Chat with me”? If you click on it—provided I am online and not busy—you can chat with me via Google Talk directly. You don’t need to login to Google Talk, you don’t even need to have a Google Account to do this. You are treated as a guest user of course.
If you are a webmaster, this feature means your visitors can chat with you directly in real-time. You can provide customer’s support and immediate feedback. This is similar to the previously available meebo me widget. If you want this capability on your website or blog, just head to Google Talk homepage and click on the new Chatback link, or use this direct link. There you can customize your badge and you will be given a code snippet to put on your website or blog.
