House Renovation

I saw some strangers at the house this morning. They were renovating the terrace. Ah, I remembered. My aunt, I called her Ku Hong, told me earlier that her office would be moved here. For your information, this Tropodo house belongs to her. She, however, lived with her husband and children at Denpasar - Bali. My grannie (my dad’s mom), my other aunt (Ku Eng), and I lived at this Tropodo house at Surabaya. Ku Hong and Ku Eng are my dad’s younger sisters.
Ku Hong and her husband run a transportation service called Harlin Travel. The name originated from the combination of their name, Haryanto (Ku Hong’s husband) and Linawati (Ku Hong’s Indonesian name). Its business is originally transporting people and goods from Denpasar - Surabaya and vice versa. But it now also serves other routes: Denpasar - Malang, Denpasar - Jember, and Surabaya - Malang. Before the year 1999, this Tropodo house were the Surabaya office. Since neighbors complained a lot about the noises caused by the cars, Ku Hong decided to rent a building at Sedati Road and moved the office there. Unfortunately, the owner of the building no longer permitted her to renew the contract so the office will be returned here. I don’t know what the neighbors will say once they know this.
The first victims of the renovation were my grannie’s plants. They were removed to enlarge the space for the garage. Grannie, however, had anticipated this by sending some of them earlier to my mom in Jember. My mom and my grannie share the same gardening hobby so there won’t be much trouble. After the terrace, they will work on the other rooms, including mine. It means I won’t be able to use my room for a few days. Heck, I have a project that has a deadline around this week. I hope it won’t be screwed. Better work on it ASAP.
